Overview : Polyurethane foam is the most common type of foam used in cases. The foam is soft enough to provide flexibility for items, but also dense enough to provide cushion for even the heaviest of items. Technical : Polyurethane is open cell which means air and water can flow freely throughout the foam. The material weighs about 1.2 - 1.3 lbs per cubic foot.

Perfect fit.

Only needed one but glad now it was a two set so I can cut the extra to fit multiple gun lay outs. Would recommend.

Perfect

Second time I've purchased these. I do several different configurations depending on where I'm going and what I'm hunting. These inserts cut easily with an electric knife and are way better than the perforated "pluck" foam that came with the case. Very pleased.

Great Foam, Great Job, Superior Quality!

I purchased this type foam for my two rifles. The quality is scores above the regular pluck foam. The laser cut design for my rifles is nothing less than fantastic. It is sturdy, snuck, and fits beautifully. I would do business again in a heart beat. Excellent job!

Great foam for all my long guns

I actually purchased 2 sets of foam in 3 Plano case sizes. 42", 48" 54". I have the foam hugging my CZ Scorpion, BCM AR-15, Kel-Tec sub2k, Weatherby 12g Semi, Winchester Defender SPX and my Ruger Precision Rifle Creedmoor 6.5. Even the heavy RPR floats inside the dense foam. This is a huge upgrade to pluck foam. I used the pluck foam at first to make sure I liked the layout I setup. Once I used the pluck foam for a while I made some adjustments to the final layout in this upgraded foam. Between this foam and the Plano case my rifles are traveling far nicer than my clothes these days. The upgrade is worth the money if you travel with your rifles and shotguns.
