So far so good - but not complete yet until they reply

I'm actually trying to re-foam two old Doskocil Gun Guard double scoped rifle cases that happen to have the same 51.5" x 13" dimensions as the Plano 108191, but is a little thinner - so I ordered two 1" thick pieces rather than the one 2-1/4" thick piece for each of the two cases I'm re-foaming. The Cobra foam is a bit more dense than the original foam, so it cuts a bit easier, but cutting the foam takes practice and an artist's touch, so one has to be slow and patient. Tailors chalk and a long Exacto knife in a sawing motion worked for me, but I was only cutting through 1" of foam (my first profile cut was slightly too large, so make sure the tailor's chalk will give you a snug fit). So, I've cut the bottom foam for each case so far. I was originally going to cut the foam for the top of the cases [which are also 2" thick] as I did for the bottom, but now think that using convoluted egg crate foam for the top part of the cases would be a better solution. This is where things are going south with the company. I've tried numerous times to contact the customer support service to find out how thick their convoluted egg crate foam is, and have never received an answer. Meanwhile, I'm re-using the original foam which is a bit beat up and ugly. Maybe this is just COVID office staffing, but how difficult would it be to measure how thick their convoluted foam is and let me know by E-Mail?

Plano Case: 108191

Quality product. Initially had some hickups on my end, due to not ordering the correct replacement foam parts. Absolutely love the laser engraving!!! Only recommendation I suggest is pre-cutting the wheel welds out, had to do it on my own. Communication was paramount. Hats off to Liran, many thanks and patience! I definitely plan on odering more from Cobra Foam Inserts!!!! Highly recommend the laser engraving too!

Great Product

I was really impressed. I gave them a picture of my rifle and some measurements and the fit was perfect. I will definitely shop with Cobra again!
