Overview: Polyurethane foam is the most common type of foam used in cases. The foam is soft enough to provide flexibility for items, but also dense enough to provide cushion for even the heaviest of items. Technical: Polyurethane is open cell which means air and water can flow freely throughout the foam. The material weighs about 1.2 - 1.3 lbs per cubic foot. We can also custom cut your foam for an additional nominal fee.

I purchased replacement foam for my Pelican 1610 travel case and ordered the foam to be cut for wine bottles. Service was excellent, clear and concise communication explaining the process and confirming the design. Order was placed and shipping was fsat and delivered as promised. I will be purchasing more of the repalcement foam inserts for my other cases.
