Product Description: Custom Foam Inserts for Smith & Wesson Shield (Foam Only) Includes: 1 Piece Solid Pad - With Custom Cutout For Smith & Wesson Shield and 2 Magazines. 1 Piece .50" Base pad Glued to the top pad for integrity . Overview: Polyurethane foam is the most common type of foam used in cases. The foam is soft enough to provide flexibility for items, but also dense enough to provide cushion for even the heaviest of items. Technical: Polyurethane is open cell which means air and water can flow freely throughout the foam. The material weighs about 1.2 - 1.3 lbs per cubic foot. PRODUCT FEATURES: REPLACEMENT FOAM INSERTS BY COBRA FOAM - manufactured locally, specifically for protective cases. M&P Shield Plus foam in Eylar case

I was looking for a custom insert for my M&P Shield Plus pistol and found Cobra. The insert states it is for a Pelican 1170 case but I had a Eylar case. Looked at the inside dimensions and they were very similar so I took a chance. This insert fit perfectly! As in previous reviews the magazine cutouts are for the 10 round magazine but the 13 round will fit. Real happy with my purchase.

Shield 9 mm custom foam

Beautifully cut. Fits 9mm S&W Shield perfectly with OEM S&W extended magazine (+1 round, with pinky extension).
However, magazine cut-outs are too short for extended magazine. Can still fit them in, but it takes some pushing and stretching. A little disappointing, since I emailed Cobra when I ordered, and sent photos of the magazines with measurements. I think they would fit the shorter magazines, but I don’t have any to try.
